I purchased the Performance Products Bull Bar to dress up the front a little.

Installation was pretty straight forward. Here are some quick and dirty
instructions. If you would like to see a larger photo, just click the
image.
From here on I will refer to the unit as simply BB
| Here is the BB before the install.
Even though it was cold out, I couldn't leave this awesome shiny chrome toy
lay in my garage. |
Besides the BB itself, here is the included
hardware |
 |
 |
| First, remove the 4 mounting bolts holding
the front tie downs. You will need a 17mm socket, and I recommend a
1/2" breaker bar for leverage. |
You will also remove the tow hook on the
passenger side. The tow hook will be relocated to the driver side. |
 |
 |
| Remove the front license plate if you have
one |
Take the bolts you removed from the driver
side and mount the passenger side bracket. Note the orientation of the
bracket. The two holes go towards the front. Just finger tighten
for now. |
 |
 |
| Now mount the driver side bracket using the
longer bolts from the passenger side. Note the bracket is between the
tow hook and the frame. Again, finger tighten only. |
Position the BB under the truck on something
that won't scratch it. |
 |
 |
| Install the rear bolt through the BB and the
passenger bracket. Use bolt/flat washer, insert through bull bar and
bracket, then put a flat washer and lock washer on followed by the included
3/8 hex nut. Finger tighten only. |

 |
 |
| Raise the BB and insert one of the forward
bolts through the BB/Bracket as before. |
Repeat this until there are three bolts in
each bracket. Still keep everything only finger tight. |
 |
 |
| Install the license plate offset bracket if
you have a front plate. |
Center, raise, and tighten the bolts! BB
to bracket bolts are torqued to 35 ft. lbs.

Finished!
